With its detailed hand-painted reliefs and rich ornamentation, this ceremonial bowl is an impressive testimony to MEISSEN^®'s history and is presented for the first time with full-surface painting as part of the modern, limited edition "Meissener Dekorwelten" ceremonial bowl. Arranged like the petals of a camellia, classic decorative motifs from over 300 years of manufactory history have been juxtaposed in cutouts. From underglaze painting to Watteau scenes or dragon motifs, the modern patchwork décor brings the creative diversity of the manufactory into focus. This type of hand-painted design was implemented for the first time on a crater vase from the Exclusive Collection at MEISSEN^®. It provided the inspiration for the Limited Edition masterpiece "Prunkschale Meissener Dekorweltwelten".
