Before the invention of porcelain, goldsmiths and silversmiths provided the shine on courtly tables. This early "Vase Elopement" made of Böttger stoneware is still very reminiscent of its model: a metal carafe from the Orient. The world-famous decor "1001 Nights" by Prof. Heinz Werner enchantingly plays around the curvature and the towering neck of the old form. Painted in pure gold according to his design, this is an absolute novelty that bridges the gap between modern, masterly porcelain painting and the highest traditional craftsmanship. Limited to 25 pieces.
