This artistic jug is one of the oldest jugs of the porcelain manufactory and was modeled after Chinese Böttger stoneware. Strictly limited and hand-painted, a Meissen work of art comes to life here. Inspired by vessels from China, a small guardian lion, hand-painted and elaborately decorated, is enthroned on the lid as a symbol of bravery and strength. The artwork illustrates the symbolism of the lizard in handle and caster, security, happiness and warmth find in this pot to together. Andreas Herten has emphasized the jug modeled on oriental ceiling ornaments. Limited to 50 copies.
