Stylized tulips in sepia painting, a genre with a long tradition at MEISSEN, have been hand-painted onto three classic lidded vases made of Meissen porcelain for the "Nature Morte" vases. Similar to a silhouette, the minimalist-looking motif sits on the strictly limited 33 cm high "Tulip Sepia" vase. A closer look reveals the artistry of the flower painting. In sepia painting, only one color and its varying degrees of application influence later color intensity and give the motif its plastic depth effect.
Due to the unobtrusive design, this hand-painted, limited edition artwork fits into any interior design, be it modern or traditional.
