Exclusive porcelain tableware from MEISSEN
The MEISSEN porcelain manufactory combines exclusivity, timeless elegance and craftsmanship to create a unique experience. MEISSEN offers numerous tableware collections such as Nova, Vitruv or Wellenspiel, which provide a stylish setting for a wide variety of events and occasions. Whether in pure white or with coloured decorations, the range of exclusive porcelain tableware is very diverse. The details in particular reflect the colourfulness and craftsmanship of Europe's oldest porcelain manufactory.
Porcelain crockery - a picture of different elements
Whether a festive dinner, a cosy brunch or an elegant tea time - the tableware made from the finest MEISSEN porcelain gives the table an incomparable ambience. This high-quality porcelain tableware is not only stylish, it is also manufactured under strict quality control.
The handmade porcelain plates are elegant and functional at the same time. Complement your porcelain tableware with equally skilfully designed porcelain cups, which promise a unique drinking experience, or with exquisite porcelain espresso cups.
Porcelain tableware sets are a wonderful gift idea for weddings, birthdays or company anniversaries. Porcelain bowls for serving delicious salads, soups, starters or desserts are a great addition to your tableware collection.
You can round off your tableware perfectly with porcelain pots and porcelain serving platters. With its modern design, MEISSEN crockery makes a statement of good taste and also gives your culinary creations a grand entrance.
What look is MEISSEN porcelain tableware available in?
MEISSEN porcelain tableware is available in classic and modern designs. Choose your favourite collection according to your personal taste. If you have heirlooms such as the onion pattern design from MEISSEN porcelain, you can also combine them with newer collections in a mix and match style. This brings vibrancy, style and design to your dining table or festive table. Choose from the following MEISSEN crockery collections:
Porcelain tableware from the "N°41" and "VITRUV" collections
The "N°41" and "VITRUV" collections are modern and purist. The timeless shape of this porcelain crockery allows for a variety of arrangements and combinations.
Porcelain tableware from the "Wellenspiel" collection
In 1996, the MEISSEN manufactory presented the new "Wellenspiel" service. Under the direction of MEISSEN designer Sabine Wachs, the new shape with a total of 39 individual pieces was created in three years of artistic development work. Wachs contrasts the strict symmetry of historical design with a lively dynamic. The play of waves flows into different vessel contours and can be found in every piece of porcelain.
Cosmopolitan porcelain tableware
MEISSEN Cosmopolitan has a modern, clear design language and is at the same time reminiscent of the noble silver service of modern grand hotels. More than ten different decor variations are realised on it, which offer a wide range of possibilities in various combinations.
Porcelain tableware from the "B-shape" collection
The B-shape is opulent and colourful, created in 1844 and 1855. The gold-coloured rims and reliefs are complemented by strong blue tones and make this collection an opulent classic.
Porcelain crockery from the "Swan Service" collection
A tribute to Baroque tableware and dining culture: the "Swan Service" from 1737 impresses with richly decorated details that bring timeless elegance to the present day.
How long does it take to make porcelain tableware?
MEISSEN tableware reflects a variety of designs, from classic to modern, and always impresses with the highest quality standards. As each piece is made by hand, the production of porcelain tableware takes several days to weeks. The lengthy and elaborate manufacturing process not only guarantees you the highest quality, but also gives the artists the freedom to perform their craft with precision. Let yourself be enchanted by the craftsmanship behind our porcelain tableware!
How durable is handmade MEISSEN tableware?
The high-quality crockery from MEISSEN should be stored and cleaned carefully, just like any other porcelain. If you do this, then MEISSEN tableware is an investment for life. Production steps such as annealing firing at 950 °C or glost firing at up to 1400 °C ensure stability and, if stored properly, this porcelain can last for several generations.
Porcelain crockery vs. ceramic crockery - what's the difference?
MEISSEN porcelain tableware is characterised by craftsmanship and elegance, in contrast to conventional ceramic tableware. The production of porcelain tableware requires time, precision and passion, which our artists and porcelain painters bring to the table. Each piece is made by hand, fired several times and finished with a protective glaze. In this way, we guarantee you the highest quality in combination with an impressive appearance. The smooth surface, fine material and high resistance are characteristic of MEISSEN porcelain tableware.
By buying MEISSEN porcelain, you benefit from outstanding advantages that emphasise the unique value and exclusivity of the products:
- Longevity
- Unique designs
- Highest quality and exclusivity
- Each item is unique - handmade in Germany
- Numerous possible combinations for every occasion
How should porcelain crockery be cleaned?
Care for your MEISSEN porcelain pieces with care. Hand washing is recommended to protect the delicate surface. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents to preserve the beauty of your porcelain tableware for a long time.
Timeless elegance for your enjoyment with porcelain tableware
MEISSEN porcelain is not just crockery, it is a timeless investment in quality and aesthetics. Set accents on your table and let our products be your companions in special moments! Discover the world of MEISSEN, where exclusivity and timeless elegance create an unrivalled harmony.
