The "Bowl Dolphin Fountain", hand-painted and limited, by Rudolph Hölbe from 1897 was originally intended as an ashtray. The work of art, artfully modeled down to the smallest detail, is hand-painted and captivates with a water-spouting dolphin carrying a small putto. The bowl thus becomes a playful work of art: the amusing idea of extinguishing cigar embers in front of a water-spouting dolphin testifies to the humor of the late 19th century. Limited to 75 pieces.
