The elephants are among the most famous African animals and inspire our artists to one or the other painting. On his 3rd trip to Africa, Detlef Ritter was finally lucky enough to see them up close in the national park and get inspired for a mural. Just as the elephant surprised Ritter in nature, he now seems to come at us from this mural artwork. The crystal surface of the unique piece, hand painted, brings the African steppe landscape to life, you can literally feel the heat. The painting "Elephant" shows masterful MEISSEN® animal painting.
