DESCRIPTION & Details
description
The "Monkey Chapel" by Johann Joachim Kaendler from 1753 served not only as decoration, but was also intended as a joking critique of the self-image of courtly society. The monkey as a motif was very much in vogue at the time. The ensemble of a total of 21 collectible figures received great fame through this, as well as through the outstanding craftsmanship. Each monkey is - also in this new edition - handmade as well as hand-painted. The colorful collectible figures are a highlight for collectors, but each figure can also convince as a single piece, including the "Flutist". Enrich your home with this adorable, hand-painted figure, which reminds of the masterful craftsmanship Kaendlers.
