If you are a collector of figurines and have a passion for traditional handicrafts, then Peter Strang's hand-painted monkey musicians from 2016 are just right for you! As a reinterpretation of the "monkey band" by master craftsman Johann Joachim Kaendler, it focuses more on expression. The monkeys are hand-painted using only three basic colors. Before that, however, the figures are constructed, atypically without model forms, but always completely freehand. This means that each figure in this collectible series is unique. The "Monkey Musician with Triangle" is just one of many wonderful monkeys in this orchestra.
