Limited Masterworks Wall Painting Still Life with Strawberries

This limited edition mural "Still Life with Strawberries" by Meissen artist Heike Wuttke was created in 2016. The artwork shows a floral arrangement of densely filled roses, hydrangeas, lilies and violets in full bloom.

The bouquet on the artwork has a very natural effect thanks to the sophisticated gradient of light and dark, light and shadow. A special inglaze porcelain color, which is hand-painted and fired separately onto the porcelain, gives the strawberries their intense red. The opulent gold border around the painting is also a Meissen specialty. Fine, hand-painted ornaments in various shades of gold stand out shimmering against the mural with its matt background: an effect created by a novel combination of different gold colors. They create the perfect setting for the precious painting - a perfect symbiosis of an old masterpiece and the innovative techniques of traditional porcelain culture.
