Single Figurine Pug with Bells
description
The pug has a long tradition at MEISSEN®. Even the Saxon elector and founder of the manufactory, August the Strong, gave his mistress Countess Cosel a MEISSEN® porcelain dog as a gift. To this day, the enthusiasm for the pug remains unbroken, which is why MEISSEN® dedicates a collection of over sixty different variations to the popular pets. Whether hand-painted in great detail or left natural - the masterful craftsmanship produces enchanting four-legged friends. So also the figure "Pug" with golden bells. Lovingly hand-painted, the figurine shows an expectant sitting dog, ready for a walk, play and fun. With much love and devotion to the craft, he is created in filigree handwork.
