Single Figurine Pug
description
The pug has a long tradition at MEISSEN®. Even the Saxon elector and founder of the manufactory, August the Strong, gave his mistress Countess Cosel this MEISSEN® porcelain dog as a gift. To this day, the enthusiasm for the pug remains unbroken, which is why MEISSEN® dedicates a collection with over sixty different variations to the popular pets. Whether hand-painted in rich detail or left natural - the masterful craftsmanship produces enchanting four-legged friends. This is also the case with Kaendler's figurine "Pug" with golden bells. Lovingly hand-painted, the figure shows an expectant dog. Whether he wants petting or rather a walk? Unclear. With much love and devotion to the craft, he is created in filigree handwork.
