Flowing and dynamic, the brushstroke follows the movement of the fish and the sea grass, bringing the fascinating underwater world to life on the vase. Hand-painted in underglaze color, Ulrich Mehner immortalizes the fish in its natural environment on the still porous porcelain. The color immediately sinks into the still raw material and cannot be corrected - a technique used for this small limited edition work of art that requires the highest artistic talent and a lot of experience.
The hand-painted vase is strictly limited to 50 copies and fits into almost any interior design.
