Limited Edition Wall Plate, Grasses & Dragonflies

The artwork "Grasses & Dragonflies" is part of a modern triptych, limited edition and hand-painted, which revives traditional Limoges painting in a contemporary way. MEISSEN^® is the only manufactory in the world that still masters this art today. The filigree, almost transparent dragonfly of the wall decoration is an outstanding example of the intricacies of this elaborate painting technique. The leaves of the artwork are laid out as loose surfaces, creating an interplay of painting gestures and the finest lines. With a steady hand, porcelain painter Annett Waldeck created her nature motifs in various layers of white porcelain paint on a black-glazed background. As part of the "Limited Edition" collection, the "Grasses & Dragonflies" wall decoration is limited to 25 pieces.
