Cupid Love over hate

A small, chubby angel with delicate wings sits in front of a barbed wire that encloses a heart. As an act of love over hate, he cuts the wire with fierce determination, showing that love has no boundaries and cannot be conquered. The "Love over hate" figurine is a contemporary interpretation by international artist Magnus Gjoen of MEISSEN's signature angel figurines. In his choice of materials for the figurines, he deliberately focuses on powerful contrasts. Magnus Gjoen chooses the smooth, elegant porcelain symbolically for "love" and the gray, cold barbed wire as a symbolization for "hate". The angel "Love over hate" together with two other figures form a collection with which Magnus Gjoen wants to inspire reflection. Each angel is available in a limited edition of 50 pieces.
