DESCRIPTION & Details
description
Johann Joachim Kaendler, Johann Friedrich Eberlein and Johann Gottlieb Ehder created the greatest work of baroque porcelain art between 1737 and 1742: the "Swan Service". As part of the 2000 masterpiece creation, the "Swan Terrine Allianzwappen des Grafen Brühl" was created, hand-painted and limited. Allegorical figures and putti with dolphins decorate the lid and bowl of the tureen and take on supporting functions as handles or knobs. The lid of the tureen is crowned with a cupid. From the dolphin mouths spring, lovingly hand-painted, artfully modeled and finely staffierte sea creatures, which run around the belly of the work of art 's to the coat of arms of Count Brühl. Limited to 25 pieces.
