description
The "Amor on Swan" teapot by Johann Joachim Kaendler, created in 1739, is an exclusive part of the world-famous Swan Service and represents the finest in Meissen craftsmanship. The swan, which gives the piece its name, is affectionately embraced by a small Amor figure, whose colorful drapery forms the handle of the teapot. Both the cherub and the spout are hand-painted and adorned with gold detailing, adding to the teapot's rich authenticity. Standing 21 centimeters tall, this work of art is an elegant addition to any refined table setting. Its lifelike portrayal of a maritime theme gives the piece a refined sculptural quality and allows it to pair seamlessly with other elements from the extensive Swan Service. As a hand-painted, gilded individual piece, the teapot shines on its own and brings the enchantment of Baroque table culture into the present day. Available as part of the exclusive collection, it is released in a limited edition and ensures a truly distinctive presence.
