description
This magnificent soup cup with matching lid, hand-painted with Indian flower branches and scattered flowers, is the perfect example of time-honored Meissen craftsmanship. It is part of the famous "Swan Service", one of the most magnificent dinner services from the Meissen manufactory, which comprises over 2,200 items and is one of the most impressive examples of the Baroque period. Not all tableware is the same: this soup cup carries a piece of history within it and, not least because it is hand-painted, is itself a small work of art. As part of the famous dinner service, it is also adorned with the eponymous swan couple, an impressive piece of craftsmanship that will look great in your home!
