The MEISSEN Pug "Blue Edition" jewelry pendant, hand-painted, upholds an old MEISSEN® tradition. MEISSEN has been creating porcelain pug figurines since the 18th century. August the Strong, for example, gave his mistress Countess Cosel a porcelain pug as a gift. To this day, the enthusiasm for this dog breed is unbroken, which is why MEISSEN dedicates its own collection with over sixty different variations to the popular pets. This includes the "Blue Edition" pug pendant shown here, which makes an excellent jewelry necklace. He wears a necklace with blue sapphire in addition to his jingle collar. Hand-painted, this pendant enchants with its attention to detail.
